Established in 1999, Kit Carlson and Don Fitzwater spawned Wetfly with the understanding that anglers throughout the waters needed a way to find quality product at affordable pricing. It is this value statement that still lives on today in the way product is delivered throughout the brand.
Wetfly entered the fly fishing industry with a focus on supplying high-quality flies to large retailers around the US. As other fly companies followed this example, Wetfly immediately adapted its model to begin developing rods, reels, fly boxes, waders, apparel, and lifestyle product.
As products feed into the production funnel at Wetfly, many of them do not pass the test of form, functionality, fit, and value. The ones that do pass this inspection and on-the-water test carry the Wetfly mark. We at Wetfly fish with these products. We use them. We abuse them. We try to break them – and if we do, we improve them. In short, Wetfly stands behind everything it develops and sells because we believe that the angler who uses a Wetfly product, whether it is a fly or a rod, should be able to stand by and say the same.

*All WETFLY products are carefully inspected to assure product consistency and quality and are guaranteed against manufacturer's defects in materials and craftsmanship for the life of the product by its original owner. Damaged or defective products must be returned in their entirety to WETFLY LLC, Repair Department, 12754 N Hauser Lake Rd, Hauser, ID 83854. Please include a detailed explanation as to the cause or situation that lead to the problem. This explanation helps us help our customers and allows us to improve upon the quality of our products.
It is important to note that filling out and returning the Warranty below, this will establish yourself as the original owner of the product and ensure warranty protection.
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product and does not cover any type of damage resulting from neglect, normal wear and tear, or the misuse of our products.
For all return shipments, the original owner will be responsible to cover return, insurance and processing fees. Products that are not covered under warranty can still be repaired for a reasonable fee plus the fees outlined in the prior sentence.
WETFLY reserves the right whether to repair or replace any product covered by this warranty and the right to replace any discontinued models or parts with current models or parts when necessary.
